The safety of our clients and staff is always of the highest priority to the Houston Chauffeur Service Organization.
To ensure your safety, we have curated various points of guidance to protect everyone involved with our organisation. These simple steps protect you throughout any of our services, all with easy-to-follow advice.
The main purpose of this guidance is to help ensure our chauffeurs all understand and practice safe and legally advised processes, reducing any physical contact, potentially problematic situations, and always promoting only the highest manner of hygiene.
The upholding of this policy and guidance is the responsibility of the chauffeur and should be held at the highest priority. Every service and setting should be subject to this guidance.
Every service should begin with a thorough risk assessment carried out by the chauffeur. This includes: Are you safe and will you continue to be safe throughout this service? Can you maintain your client’s safety throughout the service? Will the service, route or requirements create any unnecessary risk for either you or your passenger? Should there be any issue in this assessment or around the service in general, contact the office as quickly as possible.
To maintain the safety of everyone involved in any of the services provided, all chauffeurs are required to carry out a thorough cleaning of the vehicle between each passenger, including, but not limited to:
Chauffeurs are in charge of their own safety as well as their clients. This includes maintaining a safe distance both in and out of the vehicle, as well as usage of masks where required and facing away from each other when speaking. It is always strongly recommended that you reduce client touchpoints as much as possible, including door handles, storage, and any other area that may be in contact throughout the service.
Face coverings are highly recommended as well as mandatory in many public places. This guidance always advises wearing facemasks when in any enclosed spaces including inside the vehicle, as well as when entering and exiting the vehicle, and any close contact with both clients and the public. More specifically, always ensure to do the following:
Ultimately, your safety and the safety of your passengers is your responsibility. You have the right to refuse service to anyone at your discretion. Simply update the office in a timely manner, and always put your own safety first.
